    Design Engineer
    Location: Richardson, TX
    Contract Position

    Job Description:

    • Design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of aircraft Fuselage and propulsion structure components.
    • Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting.
    • Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
    • Expertise on GD&T Functional Tolerance and Annotations Collaborate with stakeholders - Present Reviews and gate checks - Prelim, Intermediate and Critical design review
    • Present the solution in the meetings to various stake holders of the customer.
    • Ensure to meet the agreed schedule with the customer and their suppliers by releasing the parts.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 1Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
    • 2At least 5-10 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Design Engineer.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Boeing standards
    • Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
    • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
    • Experience in metallic and composite structures/components
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to excel in a hybrid virtual / on-site environment in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere
