    Calling all sneaker fans

    Be a part of an exciting pop-up retail store for a top national athletic shoe wear brand. The Store Manager is the leader of a retail location and is the on-site point person for Winston Retail. They are the inspirational leader who expands and deepens a team's unwavering commitment to providing the best customer service to drive sales. Sales goals will be presented to help drive multiple transactions, productivity, and motivate the team. As Store Manager, you will set the pace for business each day ensuring proper opening and closing procedures for a flawless consumer experience. You will delegate responsibilities to sales ambassadors with the scope of work of the project, to ensure the store operates safely for the customers. In interacting with customers, the Store Manager will handle any customer complaints and other feedback, have communication with Winston Management, and manage loss prevention. Finally, the Retail Store Manager is dedicated to representing the Footwear Brand by educating the consumer on product features & benefits, converting customers to the brand, and selling merchandise at a retail location. This role also ensures the best visual presentation is being upheld. You will provide photos and reports for each shift (visit) communicated via Winston's proprietary mobile app.
    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Promotes a culture that strongly represents the Footwear Brand and sets the pace of superior customer service with consumer engagement, product education, and clean store environment for a seamless customer experience


    • Ensuring operational excellence by following opening and closing procedures are met each day per Winston Retail operational procedures


    • Giving sales ambassadors sales goals and targets to meet on a scheduled basis


    • Superior communication skills both verbal and written


    • Ongoing training of Sales Ambassadors of product features and benefits


    • Ensure store is stocked each day and presentable and clean for shopper journey


    • Complete daily store visit report for Winston Management and review opportunities and suggestions to drive sales. In addition, needs to review traffic patterns and make suggestions to Regional Manager of Retail on store staff shift to impact key selling times.


    • Ensuring that all the store is staffed each shift and communicating to Regional Manager of Retail if needs are not met


    • Elevating any staffing/personnel concerns to the Winston Regional Manager of Retail as needed
    Qualifications

    Required Skills & Experience:


    • 5+ years of management experience within a department, specialty, or retail store


    • Ability to convert customers into sales with a passion and spark


    • Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer-first and quality-focused mentality


    • Goal driven, with an ability to multi-task and problem solve


    • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals


    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills


    • Ability to train sales ambassadors on product attributes and brand principles


    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, and email and digital photography)


    • Strong work ethic; reliable and committed for the full duration of the project


    • Proficient in capturing crisp, clear mirror image photography (before and after photos to showcase completed work)


    • Smartphone device for reporting purposes -- Android OS 8.0 or higher/Apple iOS 8.0 or higher, with ability to keep phone's OS up to date


    • Ability to download and install an app on your smart phone, and upload reports via the app


    • Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand on feet entire shift


    • Available to work a flexible retail schedule, which include mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays (as necessary)
