    Senior Early Talent Program Specialist

    Position Overview:

    The Senior Early Talent Program Specialist, reporting to the Early Talent Programs Manager, is based at the Global Headquarters in Medina, MN. In this role, the specialist serves as the primary support for Polaris' centralized early talent programs, encompassing internships and leadership development. Beyond full lifecycle recruiting, the focus extends to initiatives centered on diversity and inclusion, student outreach, and program management. The role actively drives innovation and continuous improvement, emphasizing the creation of proactive pipelines crucial for Polaris' profitable growth. Responsible for illustrating the optimal talent pipelines, the specialist collaborates with stakeholders across Polaris' Business Units, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing expansion of the Polaris Early Talent programs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Full-Cycle Program Management:

    • and maintain student questionnaires/surveys including brand slides, intern interest, mentor, feedback, hiring preparation/relocation, etc.
    • standardized communications to HR Program Partners throughout the journey of the early talent associates including technology, budgeting, recruitment updates, development updates, and others.
    • orientation and onboarding sessions to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
    • identified areas of development throughout the journey of associates, including annual events like the Early Talent Summit and national diversity events (SWE & SHPE).
    • all expenses in appropriate budget.

    Communications:

    • general candidate questions throughout the recruitment process.
    • update participants and participate in LinkedIn group connections, posts and updates.
    • welcome care packages, working with Talent Branding & Event Specialist to order supplies and create Newsletters throughout the recruitment cycle.
    • Brand slide communications and collection process.

    Training & Delivery:

    • with marketing materials, research, reporting, process mapping and building contacts for the future season for all student programs.
    • Toolkit training for incoming coaches & mentors.
    • in the delivery of the learning journey for interns and rotational program participants.

    Feedback & Data Analysis:

    • program reporting & career tracking of each program participant.
    • and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, making continuous improvements based on feedback and results.
    • and regularly update interview and candidate trackers to facilitate year-end reporting.
    • other aspects of the Emerging Talent Team as needed, contributing to the overall success of talent development initiatives.

    Recruitment and University Partnerships:

    • full-cycle recruitment efforts, including demand planning, candidate screening, and onboarding.
    • an effective campus strategy in collaboration with identified universities, appointing internal leads to represent Polaris at targeted events.
    • & update job descriptions according to post them across various job boards, student career services, and diversity platforms. Manage the removal of postings post-selection.
    • as the primary point of contact for external partners such as Yello and Handshake.
    • partner university activities, including career fair registrations, networking events, and logistics for Yello Event Manager.
    • as a liaison between Polaris and campus career centers, providing information on deadlines, communications, and supplying marketing materials.

    Skills and Experiences

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • 3+ years recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
    • Previous experience executing early career program management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to engage with diverse audiences.
    • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships.
    • Familiarity with campus recruitment strategies and university specific platforms to engage students (i.e. Handshake, Yello).
