Responsibilities
- Detailed design analysis testing of architectures circuit design for MOSFET Si IGBT SiC/GAN devices Isolated Non-Isolated High Power DC/DC converters greater than 1kW High Power AC inverters greater than 1kW System level DC link interactions Experience with power magnetics design machine control EMI control Filters for importable exportable sine wave power for grid tie other applications Control strategies for power conversion Required Education Experience & Skills hands-on experience full product development lifecycle electronics hardware component system integration validation verification Ability work software firmware controllers converters power distribution systems rotating machine control EMC/EMI compliance Pre-existing knowledge magnetic high frequency applications soft switching techniques Experience AC-DC converters power factor correction Experience digital topologies architectures select optimal components Discrete understanding entirety electrification ecosystem Ability earn trust maintain positive relationships contribute culture BAE Technical writing skills create engineering documentation Highly organized team player excellent technical communication skills written verbal Preferred Education Experience & Skills familiarity military commercial standards modeling simulation testing power electronics SPICE LTSPICE Mathcad Matlab/Simulink Ansys Electronic desktops Proven ability effectively lead small team solution open-ended problems Proven ability coach teach others organization Demonstrated technical leadership mentoring Ability develop strategic roadmaps technology business
