2024 Spring RN Graduate Internship
Join our team as Graduates of an accredited Nursing Program (RN), who are planning to obtain a State of Texas RN License within weeks of graduation can apply for this annual opportunity.
The internship program offers payment. Successful interns will have the chance to secure a full-time RN position at the hospital with a commitment to work a minimum of 2 years. **Relocation** and **Sign-on Bonuses** are available. For out-of-town applicants, Skype or other Virtual Interviewing Processes (VIP) are options.
The program is overseen by the LMC Education Department. Applicants will receive a list of open positions for permanent, full-time roles at a later date. This initiative aims to support the workforce training and development of Nurse Graduates as they transition to state-recognized Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing.
Successful program interns will continue their employment as registered nurses in the unit or medical/surgical floor where they completed their internship.
Specifics regarding the internship role:
Our program offers a preceptor for in-unit support and a professional mentor for a holistic approach to professional integration at our facility.
Applicants should schedule their nursing boards before the start date and maintain current CPR and ACLS certifications.
