    Job Title: Hearing & Speech Specialist


     


    Job Description:


    • Provide professional clinical services to individuals with communication, swallowing and/or hearing disorders.
    • Evaluate the nature and extent of impairments using standardized speech and language assessments.
    • Develop treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on improving functional communication, hearing and/or swallowing skills.


    Required Skills & Qualifications:


    • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an approved program is required for this role. The degree must be obtained within the last 10 years if the applicant has a bachelor's degree or 5 years if they have a master's or doctoral degree. Additionally, licensure as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Audiologist (AuD) by the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulation (IDFPR) along with endorsement as an SLP are also necessary for consideration in this position.​​
    • Possession of Professional Educator License issued by the Illinois State Board Education with School Speech Therapist endorsement (e.g., teaching license).,p
