    Configuration Analyst


    Summary:


    In this position, this person will be part of a team that utilizes an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to generate, validate and record job configuration details for manufacturing.

    This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting and Business Technology.


    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure proper job configuration by reviewing customer submitted documentation.
    • Maintain and update ERP configurator rules as required.
    • Update Bills of Materials (BOMs)
    • Review, record and track temporary deviations to the as-build records.
    • Process change requests within the ERP configurator as required.
    • Incumbent will ensure that all information and specifications provided to our internal and external customers will be correct, complete, accurate, clear and concise; and will be presented in a timely manner.
    • Conduct impact analysis (where used)
    • Conduct system maintenance and rule changes to resolve software/programming issues.
    • Manage ERP system data as assigned.
    • Assist in system analysis, design analysis, development, and testing processes.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
    • Adhere to safety standards at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong technical aptitude, decision making, and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Strong personal interaction skills
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite.
    • Basic to Advanced data management a plus (SQL).
    • Experience working with engineering data highly valued.

    Safety/Physical Requirements:

    • This position requires the incumbent's presence onsite in the plant/in the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
    • Incumbent must be able to access manufacturing and assembly areas on the shop floor in order to inspect units, investigate problems and/or potential solutions to problems, and to prove out potential solutions to problems.
    • Capable of lifting/moving parts weighing 50 lbs. or less.
    • Must pass background check and drug test.
    • Requires bending, stooping and standing.
    • Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours pr day. (Overtime may extend the time period.)
    • Good visual and spatial perception
