Description

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Division CFO. Our client is a global industrial manufacturer. This is a critical and high-profile role, located in Columbus, OH with some travel. You'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and partnering with the business and leadership teams to drive strategy and growth.

The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing with costing, controlling, and FP&A experience.

Essential Functions:

• Provides leadership and direction for all financial functions
• Partners with Leadership to advise and develop growth strategies and plans
• Develops management information and KPIs
• Partners with sales and operations for accurate forecasting
• Enhances and maintains a robust financial control and compliance environment
• Ensures a strong inventory control and procurement process
• Directs the preparation of all financial statements
• Compares sales and profit projections to actual and budgeted expenses; understands, oversees and takes action to make necessary adjustments
• Develops forecasts, reports, and analyzes variances and plans for continuous improvement
• Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements and developing subsequent action plans

What we are Seeking:

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
• Advanced degree or CPA, CMA certification is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing/inventory management is required
• Strong operational P&L, balance sheet & forecasting experience required
• Experience working with business partners; driving accountability and teaming to develop solutions and repeatable, predictable processes
• Experience leading and building a team
• Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
• Desire to be hands on and work up and down the hierarchy ladder
