- Developing and implementing training programs for staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Collaborating with the management to maintain adequate nursing staff levels for optimal patient care.
- Facilitating recruitment and evaluation processes, as well as ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Representing the Acute Care Services unit in meetings and contributing to policy development.
- Managing unit budgets and resources efficiently.
- Regularly interacting with staff, problem-solving, and fostering open communication within the team.
- Engaging with the Leadership Team to provide updates, strategic insights, and address operational goals.
- Being hands-on when necessary and serving as a resource for the team.
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or eligible licensure in Montana.
- Preferably equipped with Master's degrees in Nursing, Business, or Leadership/Management.
- Hold certifications such as ACLS, ONS, and Healthcare Provider BLS (to be obtained within 3 months).
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within Acute Care.
- Prior experience as a Unit Level Director is highly desirable.
- Proficient in RN duties for Med/Surg or ICU with at least 2 years of bedside RN experience.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with healthcare professionals, managing projects, and improving processes.
- Skilled in working with teams of varying skill levels, including new graduate RNs, and adept with Electronic Medical Records.
- Demonstrates leadership, customer focus, strategic thinking, teamwork, and effective delegation.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and possesses excellent communication and computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software applications.
