Job Title: Programs Facilitator


Reports to: Principal

Primary Purpose


The Programs Facilitator coordinates campus assessment programs and facilitates required meetings and processes for students served through Special Education, Section 504, and English Learner programs. This position ensures compliance with state and federal requirements while supporting campus staff, students, and families.

Major Responsibilities


Assessment Coordination


  • Serve as the campus testing coordinator for state, local, and national assessments.

  • Coordinate all aspects of test administration, including scheduling, training, security, accommodations, and make-up testing.

  • Ensure accurate implementation of assessment procedures in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Support staff with assessment preparation and oversee scoring and reporting as applicable.

  • Special Programs Facilitation


  • Facilitate and coordinate meetings and documentation for:

  • Special Education (ARD meetings)

  • Section 504 eligibility and review meetings

  • English Learner programs, including LPAC meetings

  • Ensure compliance with all legal timelines, documentation requirements, and procedural safeguards.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families to support student needs.

  • English Learner Programs


  • Serve as LPAC and TELPAS coordinator for the campus.

  • Oversee identification, placement, monitoring, and assessment of English Learners.

  • Coordinate TELPAS training, rater certification, and assessment administration.

  • Ensure accurate PEIMS data entry related to English Learners.

  • Support staff understanding of language proficiency data and instructional implications.

  • Campus Coordination and Support


  • Assist with course selection processes and master schedule development as related to special program services.

  • Support campus intervention and WIN time scheduling to meet student needs.

  • Maintain organized records and systems related to assessments and special programs.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, and parents regarding program requirements and timelines.

  • Compliance and Professional Responsibilities


  • Ensure adherence to district policies and state and federal laws related to assessments and special programs.

  • Participate in required training and professional development.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal consistent with the role.

  • Qualifications


    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Certification:

  • Texas Teacher Certification

  • Special Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of state assessment systems and accountability requirements

  • Knowledge of Special Education, Section 504, and English Learner regulations

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records

  • Proficient with technology and student information systems
