    The B shift is Monday - Thursday 7:00PM - 5:00AM. 4 days 40 hours per week.

    (This posting is for the B shift lab, times are 7:00PM - 5:00 AM Monday - Thursday. 4 ten hour shifts.)

    Description:


    MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR:
    is for the main lab as a technologist who does dilutions and makes the panels.

    They will need to have at least 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory setting, familiar with GMP and able to follow all procedures in the making of panels for the assembly side of the business.

    Background of lab work in a hospital or clinic, or where they went to college assisting in a lab dealing with solutions ,chemicals, or antibiotics.

    Job Overview

    Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment. Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities. Assists with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications. Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with scientific operations.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    ⦁ o Cleans lab supplies and glassware

    ⦁ o Builds panels/dispense bottles

    ⦁ o Operates glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves

    ⦁ o Creates label files from templates

    ⦁ o Assists with the removal and disposal of waste chemicals

    ⦁ o Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications

    ⦁ o Provides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures

    ⦁ o Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

    ⦁ o Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures

    ⦁ o Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures

    ⦁ o Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements

    ⦁ o Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications


    Minimum Education/Experience:


    o High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 1 year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline

    Basic Skills:

    o Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills

    o Must be detail-oriented

    o Strong time management skills required


    Proficient/Working Skills:
    o Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic

    o Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
