    As the Director of Nursing LPN at Meadowlakes Retirement Village in Oklahoma City, OK, you will hire and train facility nursing personnel, direct the provision of nursing services to facility residents, and oversee the development and implementation of resident care plans.

    In everything you do, your primary goal will be to assure that facility residents receive the best possible quality care.

    We have a great nursing administration support team to include ADON's, dedicated wound care nurse, dedicated infection control preventionist, MDS nurses, and a staffing coordinator, and weekend supervisor.

    There is also great regional support with regional infection control, dietician, as well as corporate clinical support and leadership. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that is recognized for their achievements and contributions.

    Directing, supervising, and evaluating work activities of personnelPlanning, implementing, and administering programs and servicesEstablishing work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space, and equipment availabilityMonitoring the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and servicesRequirements:Current/valid LPN license in the state of Oklahoma.

    Previous skilled nursing facility leadership experience with a comprehensive understanding of clinical operations and regulatory complianceAbility to recruit, mentor, develop, retain, and lead staff members in a work environment that sets high expectations, but delivers respect, dignity, and recognition for achievementHighly organized with excellent communication skillsMust exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsMust be able to provide direct nursing care as necessary
