    Description

    You're stepping into a well-run system with a seasoned EA who's been in the seat for five years. The workflows are documented. The nuance is captured. You'll have a decent amount of support during the transition.

    The job is to keep the machine humming and gradually take more altitude.

    Full-time Executive Assistant, starting with a 90-day trial.

    Hybrid role. Local to Fort Worth, with weekly in-office time.

    This is not calendar babysitting. The calendar is manageable. The leverage is in email, to-do management, anticipation, and follow-through.

    What You'll Own

    • Email management and prioritization
    • The founder's to-do list and follow-through.
    • Project tracking across 2–3 core initiatives and 5–10 active threads.
    • Daily touchpoints with concise updates (bullets or brief verbal check-ins).
    • Personal and business travel arrangements, and select personal logistics
    • Light accounting and proforma/KPI management
    • Light digital design: infographics, on-brand presentations, clean pitch decks.
    • Maintaining and improving existing systems.

    This is mostly internal support. Gatekeeping is mostly handled elsewhere.

    Tools & Skills

    • Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
    • Spreadsheet fluency
    • AI proficiency for research, writing, model building, and problem-solving.
    • Eye for detail and basic design
    • Canva, Squarespace, Zapier
    • Bonus if you have experience with:
    • Title companies
    • Real estate transactions
    • Mortgage or lending workflows
    • Oil & gas land work (transactional, detail-heavy environments)

    You don't need to be taught how deals move.

    Trust & Authority

    This role ramps fast.

    As competence is demonstrated, decision authority will expand quickly. The goal is progression toward a Chief of Staff–style role, not permanent EA containment.

    Long-term, you'll be trusted with access… financial, digital, and operational—integrity matters. Discretion is assumed.
