ABOUT THE FACILITYSaint Mary's Hospital is a 347-bed, acute care community teaching hospital serving Greater Waterbury, in Connecticut's central Naugatuck Valley, since 1909. Saint Mary's Hospital is part of Trinity Health Of New England, the region's largest health system. A designated Level II Trauma Center, Saint Mary's offers a robust residency training program and an award-winning cardiac and stroke care. It also houses the region's only pediatric emergency care unit. As the leading provider of surgical services in Greater Waterbury, Saint Mary's was also the first to introduce the da Vinci&174; Robotic Surgery System.
