    Description
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Work with FAA and stakeholderson design and development of safety tools.
    • Develop, test, and implement web applications with a focus on the frontend, ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in building REST APIs.
    • Solid Experience in Angular and/or React front-end technologies in implementing Single Page Applications.
    • Experience working with Web accessibility.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of websites using Bootstrap.
    • Experience building complex interactives, backend, and 3rd party integration.
    • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
    • Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth functionality.
    • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues.
    • Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in UI development.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team.
    • Effective communication and time management skills.
    Good to have:
    • Knowledge/Familiarity with User Design tools like Figma.
    • Familiarity with AWS
    • Single-sign-on and multi-factor authentication experience.
    • Comfortable using Git/Bit Bucket for version control for efficient code management and collaboration.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
    • Required- at minimum 8 years of software development experience including with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL or similar backend database.
    • This is a W2 opportunity only. 1099s will NOT be allowed.
