- Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Ensure proper diagnosis and treatment of patients in an out-patient clinic setting.
- Will occasionally assist other physicians in the care and teaching of oncology/hematology patients in an in-patient setting.
- A graduate of an allopathic US Medical School of a school recognized and approved by the US Office of Education (AMG) and completed at least one year of approved residency training or an international medical school (IMG) and have a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certificate and completed an approved residency of at least 2 years in the specialty of Oncology/Hematology;
- Position also requires fluency in the English language and the ability to communicate effectively to diverse populations including other physicians, employees, patients and families.
- Leadership skills necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients.
- Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients' status, health care procedure / techniques and to monitor quality of patient care.
- Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties.
- Valid Florida Driver License.
- Must comply with the FCS Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
