    We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins Feb 2, 2026, and spans 36 days, offering flexibility for clinicians with a background in emergency care. The schedule details and shift hours are to be determined. This role is ideal for board certified or board eligible emergency medicine physicians or those in family or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience. Proficiency with Meditech EHR is required to ensure effective patient documentation and care delivery.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a range of acute conditions
    • Perform patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans
    • Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients in the emergency setting
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
    • Document all patient encounters and procedures accurately using Meditech EHR
    • Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements

    Additional Information

    • Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine required; Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience considered
    • Must possess current FL medical license
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
    • Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
