    What You'll Experience as a Data Scientist at TGG:

    Achieving business results as a client facing consultant for our clients in various types of engagements within a variety of industries.

    What You Will Work On:


    Executing and delivering high quality outcomes for clients while expanding and building upon previous skill sets to embrace unstructured work to seek and find structured solutions.

    Creating appropriate communications targeted to corresponding IT developers and product owners.
    Analyzing requirements, designing, implementing, debugging, and deploying Cloud Platform services and components.
    Exploring data sets with Excel, PowerQuery, SQL, and Python. Using solutions in Python or Jupyter Notebooks, and providing Data storytelling through visualizations.
    Developing and maintaining design documents and interface specifications.
    Writing unit tests, interacting with CI/DevOps systems, working with code quality and UAT processes.

    Developing and scheduling processes to extract, transform, and store data from SQL databases, Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure CosmosDB, etc), Google cloud service, Amazon Web Services (Amazon Aurora, Lambda Functions, Redshift, etc) and Snowflake.

    Examples of What You Bring to the Table:
    Between 4-8 years of relevant experience.
    Proven ability to collaborate thoughtfully with non-technical business unit stakeholders (i.e. non-coders) to help determine requirements, plan out delivery, and communicate results coherently using diagrams and presentations.
    Demonstrated competence in statistical analysis; Implemented linear models, developed and maintained machine learning models. Supported the architecture and development of machine learning pipelines.
    Intermediate experience with Python, R, or Julia. Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, or related BI tools.
    Familiarity with different programming paradigms (e.g. OOP vs.

    Functional), and familiarity with source control best practices:
    Define, Setup/Configure, Deploy and Maintain source code (e.g. GIT, VisualSafe Source).
    Ability to describe how data is collected, stored, transformed, distributed, and consumed.
    Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

    The ability to elicit accurate and thorough business requirements and can demonstrate innovation when evaluating the business implications of technology solutions.

    Salaries vary and are dependent on considerations such as: experience and specific skills/certifications. The base plus target bonus total compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000. Additional compensation beyond this range is available as a result of leadership and business development opportunities. Salary details are discussed openly during the hiring process.

    Work Environment:
    Our TGG headquarters are located in Portland, Oregon. We also have teams in Bend, OR, Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, and Reno, NV.

    Due to our current client needs, our consultants in all locations must have the ability to work remotely, work onsite, and have the ability to travel for consulting engagements to the markets we serve.
