PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Deliver nursing care within the standards and scope of practice, as outlined in regulations and facility protocols, while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients. Emphasize the importance of patient safety.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor patient health and provide basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice to achieve care plan objectives.

• Set a customer service example and prioritize patient safety.

• Collaborate with teams to meet patients' physical, emotional, and cultural needs, resolving complaints promptly.

• Ensure patient comfort, implement tailored nursing interventions, and promote wellness.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• Safely administer medications following protocols and procedures.

• Adhere to professional nursing standards and ensure accurate patient documentation.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Preferably, one or more years of nursing experience in relevant clinical areas.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid LPN/LVN license as per state regulations.

• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training provided).

• First aid certification may be necessary.
