    Job Purpose

    KHI Medical is looking forindividualswith computer, construction, and/or mechanical skills to participate in renovation services and provide data integration expertise. In addition to a good work ethic, candidates will need 3 years of experience in the following skills:

    • Basic general construction and/or mechanical skills.
    • Pull, install, and terminate CAT 5/6, VGA, S-Video, fiber optic cables, etc
    • Install and mount video monitors.
    • Install surgical lights, equipment booms, and cabinetry in operating rooms.
    • Cable management.

KHI teams work together to remove old surgical equipment, reinforce overhead steel structures for equipment, manage sub-contractors (electrical & med-gas), install surgical lights and booms, and connect components to the computer networks and displays in an efficient, timely manner.

    Expectations for Medical EquipmentInstallationTechnicians

    KHI Data Technicians will be expected to travel throughout the country to participate in all aspects of renovating operating rooms. As part of the team, installation technicians will participate in the demo and installation work while providing their expertise in the data/comm portion of the renovation. Applicants should have the following attributes:

    • Ability to travel out of town 80% of the time.
    • Able to read plans and follow scope of work, installing equipment to written specifications.
    • Knowledgeable in handling, pulling, terminating, and testing CAT 5/6, VGA, S-Video, fiber, and low voltage cable.
    • Ability to work in a crouched or kneeling position and in confined spaces.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Possessing basic construction skills for renovation work.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Apps, etc
    • Willing to work weekdays and weekends, as required for specific jobs.

    Compensation

    • Hourly wage of $18 $27 per hour based on experience.
    • Benefits include Medical and 401K retirement plan.
