Restaurant Server-Bartender
Our popular restaurant is searching for servers and bartenders with a welcoming smile and a positive customer service attitude to set the tone for our visitors' dining experience. In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Our servers and bartenders are committed to providing a great customer experience to our visitors, and our ideal applicant maintains a cheerful and polite approach toward both guests and employees. Your earning potential, including tips and benefits, typically will vary between $20 and $50 per hour depending upon the shift, and staff on the floor.
Your base wage is $11.40 per hour. Plus:
•Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
•Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes
•Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
•Setup tables and place settings
•Deliver a great customer experience by making every guest feel welcome
•Greet customers, serve orders promptly and accommodate any special needs or requests
•Prepare and pour all alcoholic drinks in the absence of a bartender
•Use POS system to take food and beverage orders from diners, apply specials and discounts, accept various forms of payments, adjust tickets, perform refunds, and sign up customers for a loyalty program
•If needed, Expedite and Deliver food and drinks to tables
•Learn how to accurately prepare, present and describe complete beverage menu to the customers
•Assist with adding seasonal beverage specials to the menu and accurately prepare, present and describe them to the customers
•Check Voicemails, answer phone calls and seat guests
•Keep tables and floors clean before, during and after service
•Keep bathrooms stocked and clean before, during, and after service
•Perform all opening duties, closing duties, and side work/projects
Qualifications
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
•This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
•Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
•Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
•We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
•You must be TIPS certified
