- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer and manage psychotropic medications, when necessary, in accordance with best practices and guidelines.
- Provide individual therapy, counseling, and support to clients, incorporating evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other team members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each client.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in mental health care.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current state license as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health care.
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and therapeutic interventions.
- Valid Professional Liability Insurance
