    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
    8a-5pm daily M-F Hybrid // Credit Union experience required

    The Marketing Program Manager is primarily responsible for developing and managing marketing relationships and projects that promote Golden 1 and its products and services.

    Additionally, he/she is expected to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, functional teams, colleagues, and vendors, to successfully execute complex strategies and projects.

    This position requires the ability to influence others to drive results through collaboration, working with colleagues and contacts at all levels of the organization to develop and maintain marketing objectives.

    The Marketing Program Manager will work with Digital Channel Delivery, Creative Services, Product Management, Social Media, and IT to ensure that plans and projects are developed, approved, and executed from start to finish.


    TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
    1. Works on design and management of marketing programs. Aids in the planning and execution of marketing programs aligned to strategic objectives.
    2.

    Assists the Director with the approval and execution of web site and/or marketing automation content strategies, including process documentation, roadmaps and other key strategic documentation.

    3. Works with Golden 1 leadership on policies and governance. Creates necessary supportive documentation.
    4. Makes frequent web site and/or marketing automation content updates and suggests strategic improvements. Balances priorities between business units to present a holistic brand. Provides periodic training to teammates on marketing systems.
    5. Acts as a strategic partner with business units and functional teams, like IT, Digital Channel Delivery and Compliance. Conducts regular collaborative sessions focused on outcomes and results with business unit teams.

    Assists the Director with the development and execution of integrated multi-media marketing campaigns to reach KPI driven strategic growth objectives, drive brand awareness and improve member well-being.

    Utilizes primary and secondary marketing research to inform strategies.

    Under the direction of marketing leadership, assist in annual and project-specific budgeting and planning as well as managing projects and campaigns to specific timelines and budgets.

    8. Serves as liaison with key marketing vendor partners. Contributes to contract negotiations, maintenance and execution to agreed-on deliverables.
    9. Navigates complex and competing resources in environments of ambiguity, managing expectations of timelines and deliverables.
    10. Under the direction of marketing leadership, completes market analysis, monthly reporting, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs/journeys. Works closely Analytics Team on member list development and tracking.
    11. Requires strong organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
    12. Simultaneously prioritizes and organizes multiple projects.
    13.

    Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.

    14.

    Helps to establish and uphold consistent processes/procedures ensuring efficient workflow marketing projects, keeping within budgets while appropriately contributing to the marketing calendar.

    15. Performs other tasks as requested.

    PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS: 1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to accomplish tasks.
    2.

    Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine and telephone.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1.


    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
    2.


    EXPERIENCE:
    Three to five years' experience in advertising, media, marketing, strategy development, community and/or public relations preferred.


    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

    • Critical thinking, strategic development, plan development, program/campaign development, and ROI analysis.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and ability to learn new software programs. Experience with project management software a plus.
    • Accurate time-line, project and budget management skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with ability to communicate, both written and verbal with people at all levels of an organization.
    • Well-developed creativity with knowledge of design development process including familiarity with all types of marketing communications from print to digital.
    • Deadline driven with strong sense of urgency and commitment to productivity.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple types of tasks and projects while working independently.
    • Strong attention to detail with ability to proofread and ensure quality output of final product.
    • Self-starter who proactively seeks solutions and is responsive to change and open to feedback.
    • Vendor and outsourced resource management.
    • Site Core and/or Marketing Automation System experience a plus.

    Ability to pass Background and Drug Screen if Required by Client.
