    10-hour days (0645–1715); schedule flexibility required


    Hours:
    40 hours per week


    Call:
    1–2 weekday calls (1900–0715), one full weekend of call every 5 weeks

    Pay Rate:
    $120/hr

    Qualifications –
    CVOR Registered Nurse

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or compact state

    BLS certification required

    CNOR certification preferred

    Minimum 2 years of recent operating room RN experience, with strong skills in cardiovascular and open-heart procedures

    Prior travel nursing experience required

    Experience in large academic teaching hospital (500+ beds) preferred

    Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required

    General OR experience; ability to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.)

    Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available)

    All-season or snow tires recommended November–April


    CVOR RN Responsibilities

    Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

    Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations as scheduled

    Float to other operating room suites as needed to support patient care

    Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

    Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet unit and patient needs

    Provide holiday coverage as part of the travel nursing assignment
