    General Overview:

    The Human Resources department at PWI is dedicated in partnering with management to recruit and retain a highly qualified diverse staff; facilitate positive employee relations; develop and promote a culture of safety & well-being; train to enhance employee skills, performance and job satisfaction.

    We create and implement programs to increase organizational effectiveness; we design and deliver fair, competitive benefit and compensation programs, and administer payroll services.

    Working together in a spirit of continuous improvement and collaboration, the HR team contributes to a progressive and productive work environment that meets the challenges of a changing workforce.

    Essential Functions:

    • Participate in the Premium Waters businesses as an HR business partner to the local plant as well as the corporate office in areas such as: talent acquisition and retention, safety, health and wellness, employee engagement and development.
    • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and skill/leadership development within the company.
    • Talent Acquisition: Create better visibility to current and potential candidates and have the ability to preserve the information create local partnerships and development opportunities to lessen the impact of talent shortages nationwide.
    • Development: Identify & develop technical training strategic to PWI. Provide coaching and guidance to managers.
    • Compensation: With plant leadership, develop a compensation plan that are consistent with the objectives of Premium Waters.
    • Engagement: With management, help create a workplace where employees have the ability to reach their potential while working in an environment that they feel is challenging, rewarding, and positive.
    • Health & Safety: Provide a safe and healthful working environment for our employees, and to protect them, the public and our customers from injury or illness resulting from our operations.
    • Administer benefits, worker's compensation, return to work program, safety program, payroll and attendance programs, wellness program and help write policies/procedures for the company.
    • Actively support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives and help create an inclusive environment that is a way of life.
    • Strong internal and external customer service focus.
    • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
    • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization.
    • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Mid-west travel 10-20% required.

    Required Qualifications:

    Degree in Human Resources, or other similar degree, and SPHR/PHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

    10+ years HR Management experience from within a manufacturing facility. Candidates with less experience will be considered for HR Generalist.

    Previous supervisory experience, strong facilitation and communication skills (oral and written).
