    Job Description and Duties

    This position is located at the El Cerrito Field Office in El Cerrito.

    Under general direction of a manager in a Grade IV field office with minimal day-to-day supervision the Licensing-Registration Examiner performs the most difficult and sensitive work in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.

    The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
