    About the Job: Commercial HVAC Technician

    This is a mid-career experienced HVAC position for light commercial service work.

    • Immediate Opening for a team player who can work individually in the field or on a team, looking to grow and advance.

    We are a stable and growing company located in the Dallas Fort Worth area offering career advancement opportunities.

    • This is a full-time position with some overtime, dispatched from home with local travel and rotational on-call duties (varies with busy season).
    • Career advancement opportunities are available.
    • The pay rate is up to $44 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    As an experienced commercial HVAC service technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing commercial heating and cooling systems, including VRF systems, self-contained units, non-process chillers, CRAC units, multi-zone mini-split systems, DX splits up to 75 tons, RTUs up to 75 tons, and exhaust fans.

    • You will provide excellent customer service, troubleshoot, problem-solve, diagnose, and make recommendations for refrigeration and heating systems.
    • Geothermal systems and lead tech experience are a plus.
    • You will also work with screw chillers, low-temperature refrigeration walk-in coolers/freezers.
    • Maintaining a service schedule, PM & repair & assist in changeouts of commercial rooftop packages ranging from 5-30 tons and split systems.
    • Troubleshooting and maintaining package units, air handlers, cooling towers, boilers & hot water tanks, exhaust systems, split & mini-split systems, furnaces.
    • Furnaces, ductless units, split systems. Understanding of low-voltage electrical wiring is helpful.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

    • Lift and move 70 pounds.
    • Have hand tools.
    • 3+ years' experience working with commercial HVAC systems, geothermal, and/or basic refrigeration.
    • Universal EPA certification is required.
    • A clean driving record is necessary.
