    Job Description

    Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    Providing direct, personalized nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, this role focuses on medical-surgical nursing, delivering care based on scientific nursing principles. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members to create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, while managing medication administration and patient education.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
    • Administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes; monitor and report adverse reactions.
    • Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care.
    • Record vital signs and medical information accurately and timely.
    • Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment; respond to life-saving situations following nursing protocols.
    • Perform bedside care for various medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery.
    • Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs; assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
    • Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care.
    • Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols.
    • Float between multiple campus locations as needed based on patient census.

    Qualifications & Desired Experience:

    • Current Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license.
    • Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital environment.
    • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (through the American Heart Association) required.
    • Ability to care for pediatric/adolescent patients occasionally.
    • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
    • Must be able to submit all facility-required documentation and follow submission template guidelines for consideration.

    This is a contract role that may require flexibility to work across two campuses within the region depending on patient census.
