Job Duties

Design and develop framework to automate test cases using technologies like Java, TestNG, SQL, REST, SOAP, Maven, Yaml, JSON to ensure the performance and stability of large multi-tier applications

Understand the overall payments system and efficiently develop a multi-tenant test framework which will support other Walmart tenants and help reducing test execution time

Drive business critical testing efforts to ensure performance, reliability, security and scalability.

Develop automated test reports supporting new test framework which are generated by running automated tests

Build continuous integration and delivery platforms using Jenkins, Maven and scripting technologies to fasten the build, configuration, deployment and delivery.

Perform Functional, integration testing (using commands and checking logs) and Ul testing on web applications.

Utilize bug tracking tools and test case management tools and automate the process of test runs and result capture systematically.

Diagnose bottlenecks and work closely with engineers to identify solutions.

Coordinate with developers and record defects in JIRA to track until they are resolved.

Provide regular reports on the performance characteristics of the systems

Document High level test scenarios and write Test Cases and Test steps using Confluence.

Job Requirements

Required Bachelors or foreign equivalent in CS, CA, CIS, IT, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.
