    Description
    Monday - Thursday 10 hour shifts.

    Filling orders by preassembling individual items into ready-to-ship kits instead of picking and packing those individual items as orders are received is known as material handling.

    Specifically, material handling involves a process where separate but related items are grouped, packaged, and supplied together as one unit.


    Responsibilities:
    Masters the understanding of work orders and has the ability to identify the materials and supplies listed on the production orders
    Packaging parts for making accessory kits and product kits
    Organize and deliver correct goods to the packaging area
    Assemble orders and prepares goods for shipment and record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
    Perform inventory control functions
    Properly fill out paperwork to ensure all products produced are properly received into inventory
    Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
    Ability to audit all work in departments and communicate any assistance to teammates
    Knowledge to prepare paperwork for routing of freight shipments and small package shipments
    Follow all production and priority schedules

    Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    Qualifications:
    High School diploma or GED
    2+ years in a manufacturing or material handler role
    Must be able to work from prints and procedures and follow directions exactly
    Excellent communication skills
    Must be able to read and understand bill of materials
    Must have the ability to concentrate and keep focus on the task for accuracy of builds
    Basic computer skills to prepare and complete routing of shipments
    Employee must be able to lift and/or move up 50 pounds unassisted
