    The stability of a company with a record of strong financial performance and history of being actively involved in local communitiesWHAT YOU'LL DOThe Production Specialist is responsible for all tasks associated with retort or aseptically sterilizing, filling and sealing of Infant and Medical Nutritionals.

    Functions include, but are not limited to the operation of all related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.

    The operator will also be responsible for safety, general housekeeping and team support.

    Operators may also be required to operate finishing equipment (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.) This position is in the Tetra Department.


    Major Responsibilities:
    Reacts and takes corrective action to any and all deviations.
    Monitors charts and performs tests to assure sterility.
    Operates CIP/SIP processor/filling equipment including hookups.
    Monitors and evaluates hydrogen peroxide levels throughout the filler, making necessary adjustments.
    Reviews and performs calculation for work orders and charts.
    Does PMs such as oil, grease and minor machine and process adjustments.
    Responsible for maintaining and replenishing production materials.
    Accountable for accurate documentation of work orders, production reports, etc.,under their area of responsibility.
    Accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

    This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Abbott Nutrition regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines.

    Accountability / Scope / BudgetAccountable for accurate documentation of work orders, production reports, etc. under their area of responsibility. Accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:

    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED required

    Experience:
    One year production experience required. Must be able to work effectively within a team environment, possess excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. Must be able to read and understand process and instructions.
