JustinBradleys client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a SeniorAzure Security Architect to join the dynamic team. As a Senior Azure Security Architect, you will play a critical role in safeguarding cloud infrastructure and applications hosted on the Azure platform. You will lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions to protect against advanced cyber threats, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.

Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership: Design and develop comprehensive security architectures for Azure cloud environment, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and business objectives.
Security Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute a strategic roadmap for enhancing Azure security posture, including threat modeling, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Security Controls Implementation: Implement and configure security controls and tools within Azure, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory, to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents.
Identity and Access Management (IAM): Design and implement IAM solutions to manage user access, authentication, authorization, and privilege escalation in Azure environments.
Data Protection: Develop and implement data encryption, masking, tokenization, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions to protect sensitive data stored in Azure services.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS) by implementing appropriate controls and conducting regular compliance assessments.
Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks for Azure environments, and lead investigations and remediation efforts in the event of security incidents.
Security Awareness and Training: Promote security awareness and provide training to internal teams on Azure security best practices, emerging threats, and compliance requirements.
Security Automation: Drive automation initiatives to streamline security operations, enhance threat detection capabilities, and improve incident response times.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT operations, and application development, to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure security-by-design principles are followed.

Requirements:

Expertise in Azure Security with 10+ years of experience in security architecture and hands on engineering.
Self-Starter and Senior resource who can lead Azure Security Architecture and Engineering.
Drive security controls with common information security standards such as: NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP, and CIS Controls.
Strong background in cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations
Expertise in Azure public cloud, O365, Azure DevOps, Azure cloud native design, microservice architecture, containerization and non-functional requirements
Hands on experience in Azure ARM Template (Terraform or Biceps), PowerShell and Azure Cli

Nice to Have:

Azure Security Engineer Certification, Microsoft Cyber Security Architect Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
