- In a 24/7 environment, an IT MES Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless manufacturing processes.
- System Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly check and update MES to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Network and Data Security: Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to safeguard sensitive data from cyber threats.
- User Support and Training: Assist users with MES issues and provide training sessions for system understanding.
- Data Management and Backups: Implement data backup strategies to prevent loss and ensure data availability.
- Integration and Interface Management: Ensure smooth interaction with other IT systems for seamless data exchange.
- System Upgrades and Enhancements: Continuously improve MES functionality and features.
- Audit Management: Maintain compliance with standards and facilitate audit processes.
- Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: Provide quick solutions to system problems to minimize operational impact.
- Reporting and Documentation: Develop comprehensive reports and maintain system documentation.
- Vendor Management: Engage with software vendors for support and updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years' experience in IT, particularly in manufacturing systems.
- Server and database knowledge.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to engage in on-call duties.
- Bachelor's degree in IT Technology or engineering.
- 6+ years in computer system validation and analytical instrumentation testing.
- Experience in supporting MES in a manufacturing environment.
