    Currently we are seeking an experienced individual to join us and lead our Accounting Team as our Financial Controller at our Fort Dodge Headquarters.

    This position is responsible for the efforts and results of the accounting department and oversees all of the accounting duties in our day-to-day operations.


    Financial Controller Responsibilities


    • Track fixed assets
    • Reconcile the general ledger
    • Prepare accurate company financial statements for Decker and all subsidiaries
    • Ensure weekly direct deposit payroll and billing is completed timely
    • Maintain the 401K program transactions
    • Support Accounting Department in all of their duties
    • Report to the CEO and President/CFO in regards to all accounting activities
    • Other duties as assigned
    Financial Controller Qualifications


    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required and a CPA designation is a plus.
    • The right candidate will have years of experience in a business environment including management experience.
    • Great communication, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, cross-reference and analytical skills.
    • Honesty, integrity and attention to detail are of utmost importance.
    • Must be an expert user in MS Excel.
    • Knowledge of McLeod software a plus.
