Job summary
The Program and Admin Specialist will coordinate aspects of the daily office environment including office maintenance, ordering supplies, processing financial transactions among other duties.
Coordinate office equipment maintenance initiate facility repair requests with building management outside vendors Work closely with department faculty on coordination of engagement initiatives planning logistics special events Coordinate schedule internal external meetings conference video calls leaders May perform other duties accounting support reception facilities supply management back office functions
This position plays key role driving collaborative initiative University Utah partner universities called Mountain West Microbiome Alliance MoWMA As primary support program you help bring faculty together coordinating monthly seminars annual offsite meetings specialized training events You'll also manage weekly video collaboration sessions provide essential logistical administrative support ensure smooth operations This opportunity contribute dynamic cross institutional effort fosters innovation knowledge sharing impactful partnerships Ideal someone passionate advancing academic collaboration eager grow professionally highly collaborative environment
