The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Sr. Machine Learning Scientist to join our team who will play a critical role protecting our platform from streaming fraud unfair royalty payouts degraded user experiences You'll research develop ML models detect anomalous user behavior build foundational ML/AI systems understand content closely collaborate partners Engineering Content Licensing Product productionize systems mitigate fraud uphold integrity royalty payouts surface high-quality content listeners What You'll Do Frame business goals machine learning problems Pandora SiriusXM own execution Research design build high-impact machine learning models combat streaming fraud scale extend SiriusXM's content understanding capabilities Develop content understanding models using ML/AI techniques power downstream systems listener experiences royalty processing catalog management Create new signals pipelines model user behavior consumption patterns behavioral anomalies Collaborate cross-functional partners including Engineering Product Content Licensing Curation This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities What You'll Need Ph.D. or M.S. quantitative field years relevant work experience years research development experience real-world content understanding fraud detection systems Deep understanding supervised unsupervised machine learning anomaly detection graph-based techniques Hands-on experience LLMs retrieval-augmented generation RAG pipelines vector stores orchestration frameworks Experience large-scale data production ML pipelines TensorFlow PyTorch Airflow Spark cloud platforms AWS GCP Excellent written verbal communication skills effectively advocate technical solutions scientists engineers product audiences Passion data-driven research development experimentation Self-motivated growth-oriented driven pursue solutions challenging problems Must legal right work U.S.
