Direct Hire Job #18616 Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 USD The HT Group is partnering with a high-growth automotive part manufacturer to find a Operations/Plant Manager This person will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, drive strategic direction of the facility, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and profitable growth.
We are looking for a true hands on leader who has experience overseeing manufacturing operations for small-mid sized plants.Louisburg NC | Base up to $140k + bonus | Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Develop and implement plans to ensure operational excellence and meet production and company goals Oversee all manufacturing/warehouse operations (machining, assembly, quality control, fulfilment, maintenance)
Maintain quality control standards to meet industry and customer specifications Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize inventory and minimize lead times.
Establish KPIs to monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement efforts Lead, mentor, coach, and train teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
Manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities Lead initiatives to streamline processes and implement best practices (lean manufacturing/six sigma) Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and ensure satisfaction Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience 5+ years experience in a leadership role making engineered products Automotive manufacturing industry experience highly preferred Proven success of improving operations and exceeding departmental goals Strong understanding of engineered products manufacturing process Experience with lean manufacturing principles, six sigma methodologies, and similar Ability to manage budgets and drive cost saving initiatives Must be highly proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
