Material Handler*Job Description
We are seeking material handlers for both 2nd and 3rd shifts. These individuals will be positioned either in the sheet metal bay or the bar bay, contingent on current needs.
The 2nd shift runs from 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday and demands preparedness to work 52-55 hours weekly, with extra hours coming after regular shift time.

The training process involves 2-3 weeks of classroom learning (covering safety, core values, basic certifications, etc.), followed by 3-4 weeks of hands-on training (forklift certifications, learning procedural duties, etc.).

The role predominantly involves order selecting using the high reach/side loader forklift, sorting and banding material with the sit down forklift, and operating the overhead crane when necessary.

It is not solely a forklift role; other responsibilities include maneuvering of material, loading trucks, banding various metals, and lifting up to 55lbs independently.Hard Skills
