Opportunity:

RAD Tech - RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Average 15-20 patients per tech per day

• Work with inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural patients of all age ranges

• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience required

• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS

• Skills required include surgical/procedure imaging, general radiography, portable X-rays, and mid-high level hospital experience

• Fluoroscopy procedures: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases

• Operating room imaging: orthopedic, general surgery, spines (preferred comfortable with o-arm)

• Work with advanced technology including EPIC EMR, GE/Fuji/Del Medical X-ray equipment, McKesson PACS, and GE 9900/Elite C-arms and Medtronic o-arms

• Surgery scrubs provided in house

• Free parking available

• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients

• 7-day department orientation provided

• No floating required

• 24/7 support from radiologist, respiratory therapist, hospitalist, and intensivist on site

Facility:

This major medical center is a 636-bed healthcare facility featuring Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU designations, along with Magnet recognition and Primary Stroke Center certification. The radiology department operates with 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy suites, 1 video swallow room, plus additional clinic space with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room. The department maintains comprehensive staffing with 14 techs on day shift, 7 on second shift, and 3 on night shift, supported by a lead tech on first shift.
