- Operating material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip-sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensuring material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use to meet internal/external customer expectations, including shipments of finished goods to the off-site Distribution Center.
- Loading and unloading trailers that are going between our off-site Distribution Center and main site.
- Checking/verifying, signing for inbound freight from suppliers, complete cleaning & labeling of materials.
- Assisting in completion of receipts and shipments as needed.
- Delivering all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintaining material inventory quantity accuracy via physical counts & inventory management system transactions to maintain accurate inventory.
- Maintaining material location accuracy via RF scanner.
- Inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, cleaning, and reporting issues pertaining to material handling equipment.
- Maintaining training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines and Safety Security & Environment guidelines
- Maintaining a high level of safety awareness. This includes participating in the ZAP program.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of forklift experience
- Stand up forklift experience loading/unloading trailers as well as storage in racking and bulk areas
- Experience in MERP or SAP inventory management systems
- Experience in Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry
