The position is based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate should be available to join immediately.
Responsibilities
Meet with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters
Implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Manage testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements

BTech / BE / MCA or equivalent
Overall 3+ years of experience in testing and 2+ years in automation
Excellent understanding of functional and regression testing. Must exhibit good functional / domain understanding of assigned project
Strong in OOP concepts and Core Java
Excellent understanding of databases and SQL
Should be able to develop Automation scripts using Selenium in Java or Python
Should have strong experience in manual testing and report bugs using bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.,
Strong experience in writing test plans, test suites & test cases
Good understanding of various testing methodologies, Agile is an added advantage
Experience in Web Services testing Automation using Postman / Soap UI is desirable
Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Python unit test is a plus
Must have good Communication & Analytical skills
Should be able to work with Continuous Integration tools, eg: Jenkins, Bamboo
