    Job Description

    Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    Advance your pharmacy career by serving as a Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist with opportunities to expand your expertise across multiple critical care areas. This direct hire role offers a unique chance to work collaboratively in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), including involvement in an antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals where you may be limited to one specialty area, this position encourages professional growth through diverse clinical experiences on different units.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Enter and verify medication orders while reviewing medication profiles for clinical appropriateness.
    • Provide specialized clinical services tailored to patient needs within ED and ICU settings.
    • Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams.
    • Conduct drug therapy monitoring and manage pharmacist-led consults based on established protocols.
    • Engage in acute patient care scenarios involving cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and other emergencies.

    Desired Experience:

    • Strong clinical pharmacy skills, particularly in emergency and critical care settings.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Knowledge of antibiotic stewardship principles and practices.
    • Experience with medication order management and electronic health record systems, preferably Meditech.
