    Requirements

    • Active RN License
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
    • Current BLS Certifications
    • Minimum of eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg environment
    • Additional requirements to be specified by the client facility

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Med-Surg Nurses play a key role in caring for adult patients pre and post-surgery, as well as those undergoing pharmaceutical treatment. Their expertise in managing a wide range of health conditions is crucial due to the diverse medical cases they handle.

    • Follow instructions from physicians
    • Provide standard care and post-operative support
    • Monitor changes in patient health status and administer treatments
    • Dispense prescribed medication
    • Maintain detailed records of medication and treatment administration for seamless care coordination
