    QA Engineer/Manager - Hudson, NH

    All candidates must complete a Culture Index at

    This is a onsite position at our Hudson, NH location.


    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Position reports to the VP of Quality and is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance Department of the location. A secondary reporting, dotted line, to site manager of the facility being supported.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES &


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management determines necessary.

    Supervise activities of Q. A. personnel


    Perform required personnel activities for the department including maintenance of the following: department personnel records, time cards, discipline, completion of accident reports, scheduling of vacation and monitor the conformance of company policy & procedures.

    Perform duties of subordinates when required

    Interpret customer quality requirements and transpose to internal specifications.

    Supervise writing of and approve inspection guides

    Establish effective Q. A. procedures and instruct personnel in their use

    Recommend equipment and personnel

    Supervise the maintenance of adequate quality assurance records

    Establish, control, and interpret capability studies and FMEA's in concert with other disciplines.

    Coordinate QMS activities

    Monitor gage calibration program

    Work with the purchasing department to visit and approve suppliers

    Review vendor ratings with Purchasing

    Review manufacturing quality issues, scrap and re-work.

    Review productivity improvements as they impact quality.

    Investigate and resolve defective material complaints.

    Review customer quality issues with Sales and Customer Service.

    Monitor RMA reports and activities.

    Follow up on Corrective Actions, internal and external. Generate and distribute scrap and rework activity improvement reports, including cost of quality.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

    Requires 3-5 years of previous experience in quality control environment to become familiar with the use of testing devices, techniques, and test procedures
