    Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Technical Writer with MadcapFLARE for our client in the Pharmaceutical domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

    Duration: 6+ Months Contract plus possible extensions

    Location: Marlborough, MA

    Role: Technical Writer with Madcap FLARE

    Primary Skills: MadCap Flare

    Role Description: The Technical Writer with Madcap FLARE must have at least 5+ years of experience. For this role, you must have experience with MadCap Flare software.

    The Technical Writer is responsible for the generation and maintenance of written technical matter supporting product lines. This role involves working in conjunction with the Technical Service, Product Development and other departments to research, plan and produce a variety of technical material for Medical Device products.

    These include Operator and Service Manuals, Quick Reference Guides, Package Inserts, Specification Sheets, Labeling, Technical Bulletins, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    Generate written text, document formatting, create and procure technical artwork, coordinates projects through to final print and or electronic distribution.

    Solicit training and feedback from in-house technical expert project managers, engineers, application specialists, etc. to help with design and development of technical documentation.

    Support Training efforts in house and remote to validate new and or revised documentation.

    Update and maintain existing technical publications as needed.

    Execute necessary Change Orders or other quality system processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.

    Coordinates and implements translations of technical written matter for Medical Device products into required local languages as needed.

    Support the electronic and hardcopy libraries of released and archived material.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

    Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

    Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

    Travel: No

    Local Preferred: Yes

    Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
