The Logistics Analyst position is responsible for freight and warehousing planning along with executing least cost/most efficient logistics plans that meet customer's needs.This position will collaborate closely with our customer support teams, 3PL logistics providers, and distribution locations to deliver on seasonal shipping commitments while providing a high-level of service for our sales reps, retailers and customers.As a member of the North America logistics team, you will have to opportunity to identify, develop and implement process improvements that enhance our customers delivery experience.The Logistics Analyst will provide visibility to KPI's to drive actions to ensure seed is shipped to meet geographical planting dates. What You'll Do:
    • Engage with the logistics team and Sales Support to ensure alignment on order fulfillment business rules are managed in automation tools.
    • Manage delivery automation tool, review and adjust automation outputs to develop optimal shipping plan to balance shipping costs with delivery experience.
    • Proactively monitor weekly shipping pace, inbound/outbound shipping targets, carrier, and dock capacities; be prepared to address issues timely and work across teams for solutions.
    • Position seed at regional distribution centers to meet demand for seasonal shipping.
    • Collect and present data, KPIs and reports to SPSC leadership and commercial teams to guide future shipping strategies and decision making.
    • Collaborate and work cross functionally with customer service teams, 3PL providers, regional distribution centers, production locations and the North American Supply Chain teams to support timely seed movements.
    • Partner with IT to improve and deliver new technology to drive distribution and supply chain processes.
    • Lead and participate in improvement and optimization projects that drive process supply chain and distribution enhancements.
    Qualifications

    What Skills You Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • 3+ years' of experience in Agriculture, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Management, or related field
    • Basic understanding of SAP ERP System, ability to utilize Power BI and advance Microsoft Excel skills
    • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
    • Strong analytical abilities with problem solving aptitude
    • Experience in data mining and reporting
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
    • Interpersonal skills to work across multiple business functions
    • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
