Job Title

A Buyer/Planner is required to join RBC Bearings Incorporated, a leading international manufacturer of precision bearings and components.

Summary

This role involves procurement, expediting, and vendor evaluation duties in accordance with standard purchasing procedures. The ideal candidate will identify and investigate new sources of supply, analyze quotations, and procure items necessary to service the company's operating and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate Purchase Orders for Parts
• Secure and Analyze Quotations
• Coordinate Planning, Schedules, and Inventory Control based on MRP Requirements
• Coordinate Quality and Engineering Changes with Suppliers
• Monitor and Maintain Supplier Deliveries

Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They should also have experience in procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationship development.
