    About The Role

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior .Net Software Engineer Lead to join and lead our healthcare-focused technology team. As a Senior Software Engineer Lead in the healthcare industry, you will be an integral part of developing cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and ensuring data security and compliance. Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and providers.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of few engineers
    • Mentor local engineers on writing clean code and proper SDLC flows
    • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, product managers, and other engineers to gather and understand requirements for software solutions that address critical healthcare challenges.
    • Design, develop, test, and maintain healthcare applications and systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
    • Implement and adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and other relevant compliance requirements.
    • Leverage your expertise in data privacy and security to design and implement solutions that protect sensitive patient information and maintain the confidentiality of healthcare records.
    • Participate in architecture discussions to ensure that software solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable in healthcare environments.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications with medical devices, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and other healthcare technologies.
    • Develop algorithms and analytics tools to process and analyze medical data, contributing to data-driven decision-making and patient outcomes.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance the value of our software products.
    • Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive documentation, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects, ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare software applications

    Requirements

    • B.S. in Computer Science or similar
    • 10+ years of experience in a Software Engineering or related role
    • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer lead
    • 5+ years of experience in C#
    • Experience with client-side browser development such as JavaScript, a language that compiles to JavaScript (e.g. TypeScript, React, Vue, etc), or a language that compiles to Wasm.
    • Proven ability to work with Stakeholders to better define the scope of their needs in a manner that allows for successful delivery.
    • Familiarity with cloud systems, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and a desire to expand your knowledge of cloud architecture on Microsoft's Azure platform.
    • Experience with Git
    • Prior experience in systems with strong regulation and privacy concerns such as financial or health related systems is a plus.

    Additional Information

    The expected base pay for this role will be between $120,000-$160,000 at the commencement of employment, paid in USD. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
