Bartender The Aloft Anchorage is seeking a qualified professional to join the W XYZ team Candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.<+
Responsibilities
- Responsible for beverage service to guest bar set-up and pour costs Must maintain and be accountable for inventory Some limited food service may be required Must have experience Must hold current Alaska TAMS training program card.
Skills
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register make change total guest checks count total bank prepare cash drops total all other charges understand portion sizes Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions balance sheets vouchers Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use knife make garnish pick up glassware bottles scoop ice mix drinks reach overhead retrieve stock Ability read speak understand English language communicate with guests take orders Ability remember recite promote variety menu items Ability operate keyboard point sale procedures pre-check order close check Ability work stand confined spaces long periods time Ability effectively deal customer complaints concerns friendly positive manner involves listening nature concern demonstrating empathy customer providing positive proactive solutions
