Job summary
The Phlebotomist supports all sections of the Clinical Outpatient Laboratory and Cancer Institute blood draw center through proper phlebotomy techniques as well as proper specimen accessioning processing and related activities Follows all UAMS Department of Pathology Policies and Procedures for blood collection Obtains patient specimens at an acceptable rate This position also assists with access coordinator responsibilities including openingclosing of clinic and will participate in the training of new employeesJob description
